Our Founder
Mariam Nawabi is the founder and President of Nevada ABA Therapy. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavioral Analyst in the state of Nevada. For approximately 12 years, Mariam has been working with children who are diagnosed with Autism and Down Syndrome. She also has been working with toddlers and infants in a preschool setting for 6 years.
She completed her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) and subsequently completed her Master’s Degree from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, specializing in Applied Behavioral Analysis. She has been a BCBA since 2014.
Mariam has a strong background in conducting assessments, creating an effective behavioral intervention plan, and providing parent training. She has a special keen interest on early intervention training, believing that the early years of life are the most important pillar foundations in setting a child up for lifelong success.
Mariam can render services in English, American Sign Language (ASL) both face-to-face and via telehealth with the use of HIPAA-compliant technology.
In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, yoga, spending time with her family, and volunteering in her local community. As a Mom of two young daughters, she loves being an involved parent with their upbringing.
